The fixed star Procyon is said to promote health and bring favors from powerful people and spirits. With the Sun conjoined to this powerful star, I worked with a plant of the Sun - Calendula - to make a protective and benevolent oil for the face and body. Herbally speaking, bright and cheery calendula is known to treat skin inflammations and irritations, and might even be useful to protect against sunburn, although more studies are needed. In the magickal sense, this special oil may elicit feelings of vitality, confidence, protection, and may grant the wearer serendipitous goodwill towards them from others.
